There will be a change to the existing contract for the rehabilitation of the LIRR South Parking Garage. Structural Preservation Systems, LLC was awarded the Rehabilitation contract in 2012. Additional work was deemed necessary.  The Director of Engineering Services recommended that the contract be increased from $962,000.00 to $1,030,391.99.

The Town Board has authorized the Supervisor to execute a contract with Cullen & Danowski, LLP.  They will perform accounting and auditing services for the town for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2013. The amount of the contract is not to exceed $78, 215.

Fuoco Group, LLP will perform Auditing and accounting services for the Huntington Human Services Institute, Cultural Affairs Institute, and Youth Bureau Institute.

The Town of Huntington would like to update their Parking Ticket Management System.  Brekford Corporation located in Maryland was the lowest bidder. The initial contract will be for three years. Payment will be a percentage of gross revenue collected and per item costs.

The Town will execute an agreement with the Huntington Human Services Institute, Inc. to implement specials programs for the 2014 Black History and Hispanic Heritage Programs in an amount not to exceed $5000.

  1. Typical contractor probably low balled the price to get the contract then knowing that they will get approved for
    change orders. This is how they work. The garage was made cheap to begin with and it’s an eyesore. After the increase guarantee that they will need more money to continue it’s a piece of crap.
