Assemblymen Chad Lupinacci and Andrew Raia recently joined staff and friends of the Elwood Public Library to celebrate the library’s 10th Anniversary. The event included an open house with food, a photo-booth, prizes, face-painting and a 3-D printer demo.

“Elwood Public Library is a tremendous resource for our community,” said Lupinacci. “Books provide a reader the chance to learn more about the world around them, escape reality, or just take a break and learn a little about the past. I thank the staff and everyone who has invested the time and energy into Elwood Public Library to make it into the tremendous resource it is today.”

“In an age where technology and the internet reign supreme as the hub of all information, we cannot forget the incredible resource that a library can be,” said Raia. “Elwood Public Library has been a staple of the community for a decade now and I’m excited to see what the next 10 years will bring.”
