As part of its 19th annual Back to School program, PRE-IDENTIFIED school children from underserved communities across Long Island will receive new school outfits and backpacks filled with supplies. Children and their families will also enjoy a day of music, games, bounce houses, and a dinner.

The new outfits are personally selected and purchased by the Company’s Team Schein Members, and the backpacks and school supplies are donated by Henry Schein, its supplier partners, and local businesses.

This year’s Melville event is one of 31 Back to School events taking place at Henry Schein locations throughout the world. “Back to School” is a flagship initiative of Henry Schein Cares, the Company’s global social responsibility program, and is supported by the Henry Schein Cares Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization that works to foster, support, and promote dental, medical, and animal health by helping to increase access to care for communities around the world.
