3 Arrested for Gang Assault In Huntington Village

Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives arrested three people for gang assault on Febrary 28, 2017 around 1pm. The arrest took place in the Lowndes/Columbia Street area.  The Jack Abrams StemCrime reports, Crime Huntington NY, SCPD, SCPD 2nd, Town of Huntington Crime School went on lock down till end of school.  The police communicated with school officials about the arrest, no students were in danger at anytime.

On January 29, 2017, at approximately 3:05 a.m. multiple people kicked and punched an adult male, causing the man suffer multiple facial fractures, and fractured orbital bones which required surgery. This fight according to sources was in Huntington Village outside of 43 Green St, Huntington, NY 11743.

Tyriek Johnson, 22, of Huntington Station, Kevin Chavez, 20, Huntington, and a 17-year-old Huntington Station man was charged with Gang Assault 2nd Degree.  Johnson was also charged with False Personation.

A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
