Huntington Community First Aid Squad Responds to Motor Vehicle Overturn Accident
Saturday, April 8, 2017 at approximately 4:30 PM The Huntington Community First Aid Squad was called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident at West Hills Road and West 22nd St. Upon arrival they found a SUV had hit a telephone pole snapping it off at the base and hanging by the wires. After hitting the pole the SUV overturned on the lawn of a house, trapping the driver. Huntington Manor’s heavy rescue truck was called to the scene to extricate the victim. Although the victim, a 22 year old female had no apparent injuries, due to the nature of the accident she was transported to Huntington Hospital by Huntington Community First Aid Squad to be evaluated.
