Huntington Manor Fire Department Battles Beverly Road House Fire

The Huntington Manor Fire Department responded to reports of a house fire on Beverly Road in South Huntington, on Sunday, April 22, 2017, at about 3 p.m. Huntington Manor firefighters were assisted by the Melville, Dix Hills, Greenlawn and Huntington FD’s, as well as the Huntington Community First Aid Squad. Firefighters worked to extinguish a fire in the basement and first floor of the house. Units were under the command of Huntington Manor Assistant Chiefs Jon Hoffmann and Jim Glidden. The residents of the home safely evacuated, and there were no injuries reported. The Suffolk Police Arson Squad and Huntington Town Fire Marshal are investigating.
