Two Injured in Melville Crash On Bagatelle Road

The Melville Fire Department and Suffolk Police responded to a crash after a car struck a utility pole on Bagatelle Road near Sorrel Hill Court on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at around 5:40 p.m. Two occupants, a woman and her teenage son, suffered head injuries and were transported to Nassau University Medical Center by the Melville Rescue Squad. About 20 firefighters and emergency medical personnel were dispatched with an engine, heavy rescue truck, two ambulances, fire police and paramedic unit, under the direction of Assistant Chiefs David Kaplan and Bill Schmitt.
