Arrest of Gang Member in Shooting in Huntington Station
Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives finished investigating a shooting that injured two men in Huntington Station early in the morning of May 17, 2017. On June 1, 2017, Police arrested Junior Sae Z’Payero a known gang member for Assault and a minor whose name is being withheld by Police because of his age and because of his immigration status.
Two men were standing at East 11th Street and Grand Place at approximately 1:15 a.m. Wednesday May 17, 2017 when they were approached by a group of males which included known gang member Junior Sae Z’Payero who shot them along with the minor assualt criminal.
The victims, 25 and 20, were transported via Huntington Community First Aid Squad to Huntington Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
2nd Precinct detectives and officers after a thorough investigation were able to put together all the pieces and make the arrests. The gang units and detectives deserve a thank you from the community. One more gang member removed from our streets!
