SCPD And Homeland Security Targets Four Huntington Station Bars – Six Arrested, One In Custody For Deportation Again

Suffolk County Police and Firearm Suppression Team (FAST), Town of Huntington Fire Marshall and NYS Liquor Authority Inspectors, in conjunction with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) special agents, arrested six people last night July 29, 2017 at 1:15am in the Huntington Station area.

Police officers from the Suffolk County Second Precinct and Firearm Suppression Team (FAST), Town of Huntington Fire Marshall and NYS Liquor Authority Inspectors, in conjunction with HSI special agents, conducted State Liquor Authority inspections at four bars in Huntington Station at approximately 1:15 a.m. this morning. Police arrested six men on multiple charges and issued summonses to three men for multiple violations. The bars were targeted because of MS-13 and other illegal activity.

Bar Fight At Colony Leads to Arrest of Gang Member

On Saturday May 27, 2017 a 911 call came in to SCPD at 2:20 am that there was a fight at the Colony Lounge on Depot Road in Huntington Station. Police responded to the scene found the victim had already left. Saying that he had driven himself to Good Samaritan Hospital with serious injuries.

On further investigation detectives determined that Lavell Leftenant caused the injuries in the fight and was charged with Second Degree Assault. On October 2011 Lavell  Leftenant was sentenced to 3-9 years in prison for taking part in a murder.

3 Arrested for Gang Assault In Huntington Village

Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives arrested three people for gang assault on Febrary 28, 2017 around 1pm. The arrest took place in the Lowndes/Columbia Street area.  The Jack Abrams Stem School went on lock down till end of school.  The police communicated with school officials about the arrest, no students were in danger at anytime.

 It has come to my attention that there are grumblings that I, Lisa Cook the wife of Town of Huntington Councilman Eugene

Cook, was the reason he dropped out of the race for Huntington Town Supervisor.  I feel compelled to set the record straight.

Teacher Arrested for Touching Child In Huntington Station Supermarket

Suffolk County Police arrested a Wheatley Heights man, who is employed as a teacher, after he inappropriately touched a child at a Huntington Station supermarket.  

A man followed a woman and her three children while inside C-Town Supermarket, located at 1662 New York Ave., using vulgar language before touching the woman’s 9-year-old daughter on her leg and upper thigh on March 13, 2017.

Another Prostitution Bust – Three Women Arrested During Massage Parlor Raid

Suffolk County Police today arrested three women during a massage parlor raid conducted in Huntington Station Thursday February 2, 2017 at 2:20pm.

Crime reports, Crime Huntington NY, SCPD, SCPD 2nd, Town of Huntington CrimeIn response to numerous community complaints, Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers, Second Squad detectives, Suffolk County Police Criminal Intelligence Section detectives, Homeland Security officers, and Town of Huntington Code Enforcement officers, conducted an investigation into illegal activities at Ruby Spa, located at 332 East Jericho Turnpike, Huntington Station, NY.

12 Year Old Dies In Centerport During Boating Lesson

The Centerport Fire Department responded to a rescue call at the Centerport Yacht Club on Beach Plum Drive on Tuesday, July 18, 2017 at 3:05 p.m.  According to Police Officials the 12 year old was taking boating lessons at the Centerport Yacht Club in Northport Harbor when the accident occurred.

911 NYPD Hero Commits Suicide At Frazier Park in Greenlawn

Retired NYPD Captain Doug Greenwood, 61 of Greenlawn decided to take his life as the pain from the cancer he got from working the “The pile” at the world trade center bombing was just becoming too much. Greenwood was not married or had children. According to a NYPOST article his friend Kevin McCormick stated “He said when there’s no more quality of life, I’m going to do it”.  He meant take his own life his friend stated.

Gang Member Arrested for Stabbing May Be Deported

Kevin Zepedapadilla, 17, of 126 E. 11th St., Huntington Station(EDITORS NOTE-there is no such address of 126 on East 11th Street-police gave this address and informed by us, that the address does not exist), was arrested on February 14, 2017 in the parking lot of the Huntington Library Annex on NY Avenue in Huntington Station and charged with two counts of Assault.  At E. 9th St. between E. 10th St. and New York Ave. in Huntington Station on Sunday, November 27 at 12:30 a.m., he stabbed two males with a knife and they had to be treated at Huntington Hospital.

Sink Hole In Huntington Sucks in 2 Workers One Dies

Suffolk County Police Homicide Squad detectives are investigating an incident during which a man was killed after he became trapped underground when the ground gave way in Huntington.

A crew was installing a cesspool at a home located at 2 Beech Place in Huntington, NY when the ground gave way trapping Edward Sinnott at approximately 12:50 p.m. May 24, 2017. The ground around the cesspool let go and Sinnott went down outside of the cesspool ring and disappeared into the sink hole.  He was covered by many tons of sand and dirt.

5th Massage Parlor and Prostitution Bust In 3 Months

Suffolk County Police on Monday February 20, 2017 arrested two Flushing women for unauthorized practice of a profession and prostitution during a massage parlor raid in Huntington.

In response to community complaints, Suffolk County Police Second Precinct Crime Section officers, Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives, Suffolk County Police Criminal Intelligence detectives, and Town of Huntington Code Enforcement officers conducted an investigation into illegal activities at Foot Spa, located at 718 New York Ave. Huntington at approximately 3:20 p.m. February 20, 2017.

Man Caught After Running Because of Warrants

Approximately around 2pm March 16, 2017 police were out on an arrest warrant for suspect Christopher Jautze. They received a tip that he was at 17 East Rogues path in Huntington Station.  Once the police arrived to make the arrest the suspect ran into the neighborhood. The police assisted by the police helicopter and K-9 units tracked and captured the suspect within an hour.
