Car Overturns in Melville Crash At Bagatelle Road near Tamara Court

The Melville Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident on Bagatelle Road near Tamara Court on Tuesday, January 9, 2018. The driver and his young child escaped with minor injuries when their car struck a utility pole and overturned at about 7:40 a.m. They were assisted by Melville FD Rescue Squad emergency medical personnel and transported to Huntington Hospital. Two ambulances, first responder and paramedic units were dispatched and under the direction of Assistant Chiefs David Kaplan and Bill Schmitt.
