The Halesite Fire Department was called to an overturned vehicle on Cove Road at 3:12 pm December 2, 2016. One passenger was involved in the crash and was transported to Huntington Hospital .

The Melville Fire Department captured the Best Holiday Float Award at the Huntington Holiday Parade in Huntington Village on Saturday night. Melville’s float was complete with holiday toys and real life cartoon characters.
