LIPA Outages on Long Island

(Long Island, NY 9/1/11 updated 10:25pm) – Access LIPA Electrical Outages here at TheHuntingtonian.
Right now there are still 22,360 customers in the township of Huntington without electric as per LIPA.

LIPA 9/1/11 1033AM THOSE WITH OUT POWER

At 10pm there were 4,200 customers without power.

At 12am there are 7,200 customers without power.

At 12:50 there are 12,862 customers without power.

At 1:00am there are 16,969 customers without power.

At 7:00am 8/28 there are 225,000 customers without power.

At 5:49pm 8/28 there were 418,648 customers without power.

Now at 8:35pm 8/28 we have 419,538 customers without power.

As of 2:25 on 8/30 we are down to 270,264 customers without power.

At 5:42 -8/30 Another 20,803 customers since our last report have been restore with 249,461 customers remaining without power.

TheHuntingtonian has new pictures from around the town and it will be at least till Friday before most power is restored.
