Greenlawn Fireman’s Fair – A Labor Day Weekend Tradition since 1906

Greenlawn Fireman’s fair has been a family tradition since 1906.  Huntingtonian’s cherish their volunteers fire departments because they give so much back to our local communities from their most important duties of saving lives and properties all the way to visiting classroom’s and hosting fair’s.  Greenlawn Fire Deparrtment’s fair is held every Labor Day Weekend.  One thing that makes this fair special is the outstanding prizes that fair goers can win.  This year’s grand prize will be a 2011 Jeep Liberty.

The fair will kick off on Thursday, September 1, at 7:00 with a parade.   The parade route will start at Cuba Hill Road & Broadway and continue North on Broadway to Fenwick Street and onto the Fairground which is behind the Greenlawn Fire Department Headquarter’s.  The address of the Greenlwn’s Fire Department Headquarter’s is 23 Boulevard Avenue, Greenlawn.  It is off Broadway directly North of the Greenlawn LIRR Station.

  • Hot dogs, corn on the cob, snow cones, cotton candy and more
  • Games of Skill and Giant Slide.
  • Many exciting prizes to win including large screen TV, BBQ grill, and a brand new car
  • Live music Monday night by TIME WAS
  • Parade Thursday at 7:00

Thursday, Friday and Saturday:  7pm – 11pm

Sunday: Closed

Monday: 5pm – 11pm
