Garetano Wins Independence Primary!

Results were reported incorrectly by the Suffolk County Board of Elections yesterday.  Details of the error will be confirmed and reported on shortly.

The Huntingtonian spoke with the winner of the Independence Primary  Dennis Garetano.  He stated, “It was great to have so many friends and supporters stand behind me. Beating an incumbent with significantly more resources than we had is no easy task. Thanks to a small army of dedicated volunteers we made it happen on Primary Day and will make it happen on November 8th too. It’s obvious the electorate is upset and rightfully so.  They deserve real solutions to the issues of jobs, crime, overdevelopment, and excessive government spending, not just political campaign rhetoric. As a small businessman and community volunteer my pledge is to represent the residents. ”
