Benefit Concert for Mick Hargreaves – It’s Good To Have Friends!

Sometimes out of tragedy good things happen. Mick Hargreaves was brutally attacked on July 31, 2011, on his way home from the debut performance of his band, Mick Hargreaves and The King Guys.  The attack left him with head injuries and mounting medical bills since he does not have insurance.  His friends have gotten together to help out.  Last week, on September 18th, they held a benefit concert at the Greenlawn Moose Lodge to help with his expenses.  About 200 people came out to support Hargreaves and enjoy the many bands that performed.  Ken Farrell, who is a friend of Hargreaves, described it as “a long evening of outstanding music.” Mick and his band performed at the end of the evening.
