CSA Claims Bellones Tax Cut Claims are False

The CSA (Conservative Society for Action) has claimed in a new You Tube video that Steve Bellones’ claims that taxes decreased in Babylon are incorrect. Steve Bellone is presently the Supervisor in Babylon and is running to replace Steve Levy as Suffolk County Executive in November. Angie Carpenter is the Republican Candidate for Suffolk County Executive.

In this video the CSA claims that Babylon has actually raised taxes by 36%. The questioner in the video is asking direct questions of Babylon Town Board Councilperson Jacqueline Gordon about these increases and a pamphlet put out by Babylon Town claiming tax decreases. These tax reduction claims are the same claims that are seen and heard in television and radio ads for Steve Bellones County Executive race.

These are claims that will be investigated and could, if true, cast a dark cloud over Bellones campaign. We in Huntington are getting tired of politicians claiming things that are not true.
