Man Who Had Been Shot Before, Now Shot and Killed

A Huntington man was shot and killed Thursday night, police said.

Cory Taylor-Culberth, 21, was pronounced dead at Huntington Hospital after police said he was shot in the torso just after 7:30 p.m. at a residence on Cutting Road in Huntington. Firefighters from the Greenlawn Fire Department responded to the emergency call and took Taylor-Culberth to the hospital, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have information about this
incident to contact the Homicide Squad at 631-852-6392 or call
anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain
confidential.

Cutting Street is located east of Park Avenue in the Greenlawn area.

This was not the first time Culberth was shot at. On July 17th of this year, Cory Culberth, was standing in front of 6 Wall St. when he was shot multiple times in his abdomen and left arm. Another bullet grazed Culberth’s head. Culberth was transported in a private vehicle to Huntington Hospital.

Culberth was also shot at in Greenlawn on July 12, 2011.
