HUFSD – Washington School – Harvest Hoedown

On October 14, 2011, Washington Primary School held their second annual Harvest Hoedown.  It was a big success thanks to all the planning and hard work of the many PTA volunteers.  The events main coordinator was Michele Deegan who did an outstanding job of making sure there was something fun for everyone.   There was music, refreshments including pizza by Johnny D’s.  Sweeties sold Halloween and seasonal specialities.  Activities included everything from sack races, to carnival games, face painting, mummy wrap, crafts, tatoos and more.  The children were thrilled to see Mario and Luigi who paid a surprise visit from Play and Trade in Huntington Village.
