Robbery At TD Bank – Update

We originally reported this story on October 19, 2011.  An arrest has been made in the case.

Suffolk County Police today arrested James Sullivan IV for robbing the TD Bank in South Huntington on October 18, 2011. Major Case Investigations Unit detectives charged Sullivan IV, 21, of 81 Old Brook Road, Dix Hills, with one count of Robbery in the 3rd Degree. He will be held overnight at the Seventh Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on January 11.

 A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Original Story from October 19, 2011:

There was a robbery at TD Bank on Jericho Turnpike and Dix Hills Road, Tuesday at about 5:00 p.m.

A man entered TD Bank 1040 Jericho Turnpike about 5 p.m.  yesterday.  He handed the teller a note demanding cash and threatening to use a gun. The teller complied with the demands and the man fled the scene on foot south on Dix Hills Road.

The amount of money taken was not known.

The subject is described as a white male, 6 feet tall and wearing a dark-colored long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, white sneakers, dark sunglasses and a white Nike hat.
