Introducing HMFD Fire Commissioner Candidate Raymond Spatafora

Raymond Spatafora is a lifelong resident of Huntington Station and a Walt Whitman graduate class of ‘73.

He joined Huntington Manor Fire Department in January 1982, retired after 26 years and is now a Life Member. Raymond worked 32 years in the HART bus system with a more than $2 million budget, responsible for heavy equipment, operation and repairs. He now works part-time at Walt Whitman High School as Supervisor for Security. Ray lives with his wife Frances, and has four daughters, Daisha, Lisa, Teresa and Jessica, and 3 grandchildren, Raymond James, Isobella Rose and Thomas Joseph. Raymond will help keep taxes down, and provide safety to our district.
