A Suffolk County Police Department (SCPD) spokesperson said police have made three arrests in connection with what may be a gang-related triple shooting November 27, 2011 outside the Lincoln Apartments in Huntington Station.  SCPD have not released the names of those arrested or the charges filed against these individuals. On December 1, 2011 at the Greater Huntington Civic Group meeting, Suffolk Police Second Precincts Inspector Brady could not discuss the particulars of the case, but said the investigation was ongoing.  Police are asking anyone with information regarding this case to contact Suffolk County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.

  2. I want to know why the “victims” names and addressees were made public, but the perpetrators are not? Are we not allowed to know this? Or the fact that one of the “victims”, Perez, has been shot at before? The police know what gangs are involved. Why won’t they tell the public? Do they think we are stupid shepple?

  3. There was a prayer vigil held at Lincoln Farms tonight. There were many young people there, over 50. One of the victims that lives there also came outside. This event was mentioned in a Newsday article today. It was NOT a Town sponsored event. As such, there was no police, no Town or County officials, and no “photo ops” to be had. Just concerned residents praying for the violence to end. I wonder why no official came….
