Deadline Extended For Celebrate Long Island’s Young Professionals Program

The Huntington Chamber of Commerce has extended its deadline for nominations for the 4th Annual “Celebrate Long Island’s Young Professionals” Recognition Event to December 31, 2011. This awards program will showcase 30 young people under the age of 30 across multiple career fields that have made a notable impact on their business/industry and community. Nominations will be accepted for young professionals within the private, public, government and not-for-profit sectors. Nominees do not need to be Huntington Chamber members.

Once nominated, the Chamber will send your nominee an application form, which is due Feb. 3. Nomination forms are available online at www.huntingtonchamber.com. Winners will be announced at the Young Professionals Business Blender in March and the 30 award recipients will be honored at a dinner event in the spring.
