Dear Chamber Members,
As we come to the end of another year, the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce would like to take this opportunity to wish each of you, your colleagues and your families the best that the holiday season has to offer. We extend our warmest wishes for a New Year filled with warmth, happiness and prosperity for all of our members.
This year marked 86 years of the Chamber supporting local businesses and the community. The year included so many successful events from our Media Breakfast to our tropical Luau Networking Party and our Membership Networking Breakfasts as well as the Long Island Fall Festival. The member enthusiasm, participation, involvement and support have been tremendous through all of these endeavors. The programs and events which we coordinate are examples of our dedication to support local business initiatives, provide knowledge and advance prosperity within Huntington while focusing on advocacy, education, networking and business development for our membership.
It is our pleasure to work in partnership with many other grassroots organizations and not-for-profit agencies to support local business and the economy. The success of Dine Huntington restaurant week, the overwhelming enthusiasm of the second annual Holiday Firemen’s Parade and the newly revamped “Buy Local” campaign shows how we are making great strides for Huntington and the surrounding communities.
The Chamber is proud of our many initiatives and programs offered including the MBA Program coordinated with Adelphi University, as well as our committees which host ongoing seminars and workshops to help local business grow and proper. Our inspiring programs for our younger members include our Young Professional Chamber of Commerce, focused on our high school students, and our Young Professional Chamber of Commerce. for our young people out of college and beginning their careers. We are grateful for all the volunteers who give their time and energy to our events and we thank all of our sponsors and members for your continued support and participation in the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce.
All of us at the Chamber hope the season shines a special light on our community beyond the holiday season and continues to be shared with our members throughout the year. I wish each of you a happy and healthy New Year.
Sincerely,
Robert Bontempi
Chairman, Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce
