Incident: Three Armed Men Rob Huntington Station Store
Location: 1480A New York Ave., Huntington Station
Date/Time: Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at approximately 4:30 p.m.
Suffolk County Police Second Squad detectives are investigating the robbery of a Huntington Station store that occurred today.
Three men entered the A and D Jewelry and Stuff store, located at 1480A New York Ave., at approximately 4:30 p.m. and forced the clerk, who was working alone, to open the store’s safe. The men, who were armed with handguns, stole an undetermined amount of cash and assorted jewelry. During the robbery, one of the men struck the clerk in the back of the head with a gun.
The suspects, who were described as Hispanic, fled the store on foot.
The clerk refused medical treatment.
