Act Of Kindness

Suffolk County Legislator Jon Cooper presents a proclamation to Meghan Murphy, a fifth grader at Pulaski Road School in East Northport, in recognition of her selfless act of kindness in donating 12 inches of her hair to “Locks of Love.”  This non-profit organization provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children in the United States and Canada under age 21 suffering from long-term medical hair loss from any diagnosis.
