Silas Wood Student Has Art Featured in New Calendar

Now that the New Year has begun, time to recycle last year’s calendar. And what better way to recognize the importance of reduce, reuse, and recycle than to hang up the new 2012 New York Recycles Calendar. Or, better yet, you can download the new calendar and view it on your computer.

Of special note this year is South Huntington’s very own Silas Wood 6th grader Brynn Vaher, who, as a 5th grader at Maplewood Intermediate School last spring, was notified that her art submission was chosen to be included in the new 2012 Calendar. Congratulations Brynn!
