First Snowstorm of Winter – Update

First accumulating snowfall expected for Huntington Tonight into Tommorrow. According to the National Weather Service snow is anticipated to begin in the Huntington vicinity after midnight tonight and continue into tommorrow morning before tapering off by lunchtime. Snowfall accumulations are expected to range between 3-5 inches in the Huntington area. If rain or sleet mixes in those amounts may be reduced. We will update this weather report as new information comes in.

Weather Update: Steady snow is expected to become mixed with sleet or freezing rain around 10:00 am. The snow should stop around 12:30 pm.  Total accumulation 3 – 5 inches.  Winter weather advisory in effect until 4pm.
