During the February school break, the Huntington Historical Society is offering a number of programs for children and parents. Individual adults are welcome to attend where noted.
Victorian Watercolor Painting – Monday, February 20
This workshop will teach traditional English watercolor and ink drawing. After completing the class, attendees will have the skills to transfer a drawing to paper, use a dip-type pen with bottle ink, and apply watercolors in layers with precision.
10 am – 12 Noon
Conklin Barn, 2 High Street, Huntington
$22 per attendee (individual adults and children in 4th grade and older)
Kid’s Quilting Klass – Tuesday, February 21
Looking for something fun and exciting to do during February break? How about spending the morning making a small wall hanging using quilting techniques to display and brag about?
10 am – 11:30 am
Conklin Barn, 2 High Street, Huntington
$20 per child (7 to 12 years old)
