Legislator Spencer to Host “Listening Tour”

 Suffolk County Legislator William Spencer, representing the residents of the 18th Legislative District, wants to hear from you! As part of his commitment to cultivating an open and honest dialogue about the issues with his constituents, Legislator Spencer and his staff have scheduled a series of four community meetings around the district.  

“The goal of these meetings is to give constituents an opportunity to share their concerns or issues with me,” stated Spencer. “As your legislator, I believe working together we can find solutions to those problems and make our communities safer, healthier and more enjoyable places to live. Please come and talk to me. What you have to say is very important and I will listen.” 

Please take the opportunity to meet Legislator Spencer and share your concerns with him during his “Listening Tour”. The planned series of meetings is scheduled from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the following dates: 

Wednesday, February 29th _ Centerport United Methodist Church, 97 Little Neck Road, Centerport 

Monday, March 12th _ Huntington Public Library, 338 Main Street, Huntington 

Monday, March 26th – Dolan Family Health Center, 284 Pulaski Road, Greenlawn 

Wednesday, April 18th  – Suffolk Y Jewish Community Center, 74 Hauppauge Road, Commack 

If residents are unable to attend any of these meetings, they can contact Legislator Spencer and his staff for further information at (631) 854-4500. Their office is located on the grounds of the Vanderbilt Museum and Planetarium at 178 Little Neck Road, Centerport, NY 11721. The office hours are Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with evening hours on Monday until 7:00 p.m. Legislator Spencer is also available by appointment if these times are not convenient.
