The Huntington Town Board approved an agreement with the consultant, Greenman-Pederson, Inc. (GPI)  for design services regarding traffic safety plans for Round Swamp Road.  Residents within the vicinity of this roadway have registered complaints regarding the frequency of car accidents and high vehicle speeds on the roadway.  As part of the calming plans the installation of a traffic light and other related improvements are recommended. 

 

The Consultant, GPI will provide design and engineering services for the project and the design cost shall not exceed $23,900.00 dollars. Councilman Mayoka and Councilwoman Berland offered the resolution, which was then seconded by Councilman Cook.
