Well, it looks like 3 months later Frank’s discussions with the Paramount owners haven’t “progressed” at all! In fact, the situation has gone backwards if anything.
I’m sure the local business owners weren’t talking about THIS type of benefit when they supported the Paramount coming to town! It’s one thing to attract decent law-abiding crowds, it’s quite another to attract drugs and drunken under-age children.
The Paramount MUST be more discerning in its booking of acts – no one is saying they have to close, just be more responsible for the type of concerts and acts they bring in. Consider the rest of the people who just want to go to the village for dinner and to walk around without getting accosted by wild out-of-control teens!
