Arrested During SLA Check @Arizona Bar and Grill, Jericho, Commack

Suffolk County Police arrested six people and cited a bar manager during a state liquor authority check at a Commack bar.

Officers from Second Precinct Crime Section, Second Precinct Gang Team, Second Precinct Community Oriented Police Enforcement (COPE), Second Precinct Patrol and detectives from the Second Precinct Neighborhood Enforcement/Special Operations Team (NE/SOT), Criminal Intelligence Unit and the Suffolk County DA’s Squad conducted a New York State Liquor Authority check at the Arizona Bar and Grill, located at 6106 East Route 25 in Commack, on March 1 at 11:50 p.m.

During the check, the bar’s manager and bartender, Scott Bejes, 28, of 9 Maple Ave., Kings Park, was issued three citations; two for violations of New York State Alcohol Beverage Control (ABC) Laws and one for a Suffolk County Sanitary Code violation.

Two security guards, Jose Mejia, 22, of 3357 Lawrence Ave., Oceanside, and Jamarr Williams, 24, of 21 Stuyvesant St., Brentwood, were charged Unlicensed Security Guard.

 

Four patrons were also arrested:

·        Torrey Smith, 34, of 1 Hewitt Square, Apartment 165, East Northport, was charged with Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.

·        Carla Donovan, 26, of 639 Pulaski Road, East Northport, was charged with three counts of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance.

·        Princena Degraffe, 27, of 13 East Cherry St., Central Islip, was charged with Criminal Possession of Marijuana 5thDegree.

·        Benito Delgado, 30, of 9 East 4th St., Huntington Station, was charged with Disorderly Conducted.

All arrestees were processed at the Second Precinct and will appear at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
