Town Comptroller Resigns

Through a source at Town Hall it has come to our attention that the Town of Huntington Comptroller, Tracy Yogman, has resigned and that her resignation will take effect in late April. We will be attempting to get official information from the Supervisors office and will let our readers know what we find out.  Ms. Yogman was hired by the Town in November 2007.

Story update: We received the following statement from Town Hall spokesperson AJ Carter:

“Director of Audit and Control Tracy Yogman has informed the Supervisor’s office that she has accepted a job in the non-profit sector at a sizable increase in salary and will be resigning, effective on or about April 20”.

  1. The rats start jumping the ship as soon as they feel the water has risen to high. tsk tsk tsk. The weakest link has fallen, and now it is only a matter of time for the rest of the chain to unravel.

  2. I heard the Controller resigned because it was too hard to process all of Sue Berland’s mileage expense reports.

  3. The proverbial fat lady is singing about the Towns finances. I hear Tracy is not the only one looking to bail. We need an audit as the numbers in the budget do not add up. Why has it been 14 years since the State Comptroller checked the books?

A.J. really sugar coated the reason for her leaving. Why is she leaving before the bonding gets done in a few months? Maybe those bond ratings are not going to look so good.

  4. One more thing, who will be driving the bus across Tracy’s back when she is gone. There will be a lot of riders in that bus.
