Bomb Scare False Alarm

On Friday, June 1, Suffolk County Police Second Precinct officers responded to a call of a backpack left unattended on a bench on Main Street in Huntington Village. Emergency Services responded and used the robot to open the contents. The backpack contained text books.  The areas of Prospect and Main Street were closed from 12:30 until approximately 2:15.
