Huntington Militia Celebrates Independence Day

July 15th is known as Huntington’s Independence day.  This is the time that the Declaration of Independence arrived on Long Island from Philadelphia and was read on Huntington’s Village Green.  The Huntington Militia re-enacted the events of that day at the Arsenal, which is adjacent to the Cinema Arts Center on Park Avenue.  For more information on the Huntington Militia please visit www.huntingtonmilitia.com or call the Militia at (631) 223-8017.
