The East Northport Fire Department will be hosting their annual Fireman’s Fair starting Wednesday, August 1, and continuing through Saturday, August 4. The festivities begin with a parade featuring fire trucks, firefighters, and marching bands from 20 departments, starting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 1. The parade kicks off at Larkfield Road and Clay Pitts Road, and continues north on Larkfield Road to the firehouse and fairgrounds.
The Fair is geared to families, and this year’s event features something for everyone of all ages including exciting amusement rides, games of chance, raffles and of course plenty of delicious food. There will also be booths for visitors to win prizes such as tools, bicycles and candy. Cash Raffles will be held nightly with winnings ranging from $1250.00 up to a Grand Prize of $5000.00, and you don’t need to be present to win.
Come with a big appetite, because the fair features great food like hot dogs, pizza, French fries, chicken fingers, clams, corn on the cob, zeppoles, cotton candy and ice cream.
The hours of the Fair are 7 p.m. until 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, August 1-3, and 5 p.m. until 11 pm. on Saturday, August 4.
Plan on attending and enjoy a night of family fun and support your volunteers at the East Northport Fire Department.
