MATINECOCK DISTRICT MONTHLY BOY SCOUT AND CUB SCOUT ROUNDTABLE MEETING

The Matinecock District (Boy Scouts of America) will hold its monthly Roundtable meeting on Thursday, August 9th at the Greenlawn Moose Hall (631 Pulaski Road, Greenlawn).  Fellowship/gathering is at 7:30 p.m. followed by “midway format”  starting at 8:15p.m.  PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF LOCATION FOR THIS MONTH ONLY!!! Fellowship/gathering is designed to help our Cub Scout and Boy Scout volunteer leaders do a better job working with our youth. The Matinecock District serves youths living in the Town of Huntington, as well as in the western Smithtown Township communities of Commack, Kings Park, and Hauppauge. The August Roundtable is the month that will include booths/tables for training, district, and council activities, advancement, Trails End Popcorn, this fall’s new member recruiting plans and more to assist the scouting units with many opportunites. If you are interested in the Scouting program, come on down and see how we are helping to build the leaders of tomorrow today. The Cub Scouting program serves boys in first to fifth grade, Boy Scouting serves boys 6th grade & up and Sea Scouts and Venturing, Scouting’s newest co-ed program, serves youth ages14-21. For more information, please call Elaine Gray, Matinecock District Assistant at (631) 924-700 ext. 127.
