Four Arrested For Armed Robbery

Location: Intersection of Suncrest Drive and Brentwood Drive, Dix Hills

Date/Time: Between August 7, 2012 and August 10, 2012

Suffolk County Police have arrested four people for an armed robbery that took place in Dix Hills last month. Three teens were at the intersection of Suncrest Drive and Brentwood Drive in Dix Hills on July 25, 2012 when they were approached by four people at approximately 10:40 p.m. One person displayed a weapon and they fled with the three teen’s cell phones. After an investigation, the following four people were arrested by Second Squad detectives and charged with Robbery 1st Degree:

Robert C. Jones, 18, of Wheatley Heights, who was arrested on August 10.

Lonnie Elliselder, 22, of Dix Hills, who was arrested on August 7.

Stanley Pierre, 22, of Dix Hills, who was arrested on August 9.

Samantha Debetta, 18, of Dix Hills, who was arrested on August 7.

All four were scheduled for arraignment at First District Court in Central Islip. A criminal charge is an accusation. A defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
