A 50 year old resident of Dix Hills has been reported missing since Tuesday morning. George Richardson was last seen at Hartman’s Briney Motel, in Montauk, while vacationing with his family. According to officials, there is no known reason for his disappearance. East Hampton police have been searching for him by patrolling the beach, from the water and in the air.
Richardson, whose photograph is attached here, is described as a white man, 5-foot-six-inches tall, 150 pounds, has short gray hair and wears reading glasses. He was last seen wearing running shoes and an orange hat. He has a small scar on his chin.
According to the Huntington Township Chamber of Commerce website, George is Vice President of Development at Huntington Hospital. He oversees the hospital’s fundraising, marketing, public relations and community outreach initiatives.
