Members of the Dix Hills Fire Department responded to a Sunday afternoon crash on Caledonia Road and Ingold Drive after a minivan struck a utility pole. About 25 firefighters and rescue personnel were on the scene with three heavy rescue trucks, two ambulances, paramedic and first responder units under the direction of Chief Richard Granahan and Assistant Chiefs Tom Magno and Robert Fling. There were no injuries reported.
