Harborfields Boasts Largest Number of Commended Students in 20 Years

The Harborfields High School Music Department is proud to announce that eight talented students have been selected as 2012 NYSSMA (New York State School Music Association) All-State commended musicians. These eight students were selected from a pool of over 7,000 of the finest high school musicians in New York State.

The selection of eight NYSSMA All-State musicians (five students selected to perform plus three alternate status musicians) is the largest number of All-State commended musicians from Harborfields High School in the last 20 years. Congratulations to:

This year’s All-State student musicians will perform with their respective All-State groups under the direction of nationally known conductors during the annual NYSSMA Winter Conference, to be held at the Eastman Theatre in Rochester, N.Y. from Nov. 29 through Dec. 2.
