The Elwood-John H. Glenn High School Music Department is proud to announce the selection of two student-musicians, Ryan Harrigan and Christina Dimitriou, for participation in the 77th New York State School Music Association All-State Music Festival. This will be a first for high school junior Ryan and a repeat visit for Christina.

The festival will be held at the Eastman Theatre in Rochester, N.Y. from Nov. 29 through Dec. 2. It will feature approximately 900 high school student-musicians from throughout New York State. This very special honor is reserved for only the finest musicians in the area.

Additionally, 11 talented students have been selected to participate in the 2012 NYSCAME/SCMEA (New York State Council of Administrators of Music Education/Suffolk County Music Educators Association) Suffolk All-County Music Festival. This is a great accomplishment for these young musicians, who will perform in the festival on Nov. 16 at Northport High School under the direction of some of the most renowned conductors from across the county.

Congratulations to these talented students!
