The Harborfields High School Music and Art Department is proud to announce the selection of senior Lauren Antonucci as a Long Island Arts Alliance Scholar-Artist in the media arts division!
Twenty diversely talented high school seniors were selected as Scholar-Artists from among the top students in Nassau and Suffolk counties. Artistic genres included music, visual arts, dance, theater and the media arts. Lauren will be recognized for her accomplishments in the LIAA Scholar-Artist Gala in the spring of 2013 at Long Island University’s Tilles Center for the Performing Arts.
“Lauren Antonucci is a talented student in both the visual and performing arts at Harborfields High School,” remarked Director of Art and Music Thomas Gellert. “Her selection as a Long Island Arts Alliance Scholar-Artist marks the fourth time since the program started that a student from Harbofields High School has been selected for this extraordinary honor. “
To date, Harborfields has had two LIAA Scholar-Artists in the area of music, one in theater and now, one in the area of media arts.
