Lloyd Harbor Man Falls Victim to Hurricane Sandy

John Miller and his wife were preparing to leave the home by car on 7 Oak Hill Road, Lloyd Harbor, when John was struck and killed by a falling tree. John Miller’s wife was not injured by the tree. The Millers were standing by their car, preparing to leave there home approximately 7:25 pm during the height of Hurricane Sandy. The Millers children had been seated in their car at the time of the accident.

John Miller leaves his wife and two children, 3 and 5 year old daughters. The Suffolk County Medical Examiner’s office pronounced John Miller dead at the scene.
