Homeless Woman Killed By Falling Tree

A woman was found dead on November 5, 2012 at approximately 3 p.m. in a tent where she was living in the woods adjacent to 124 Veterans Memorial Highway in Commack. She had been staying in the tent during the recent storm and was killed when a tree fell on her. Anne Marie Dolan, 57, was pronounced dead at the scene by a physician assistant from the Office of the Medical Examiner.
