At the town board meeting last night Supervisor Frank Petrone heard comments from several residents about the very poor LIPA response. Supervisor Petrone told the residences that his office has been receiving calls from residence and has been in constant contact with LIPA about their light issues. TheHuntingtonian spoke with Gene Cooks office this morning and as we where talking about some issues they were on with LIPA and we were told that Supervisor Petrone was going to be on a conference call in about 20 minutes from that time.
Footnote at last nights Town Board Meeting the budget vote was pulled from the agenda. AJ Carter to us that the Budget was pulled so people could get to a meeting on it. The meeting date which should be in about a week, has TBD.
