Message From Highway Superintendent William Naughton

Dear Huntington Residents,

Hurricane Sandy has caused major destruction to trees, public and private.
LIPA has almost completed electric restoration. I am saddened about all the people who had no electricity. The Highway Office is making available to the residents a website with an online map that will show our progress toward the complete cleanup of vegetative debris caused by Sandy.
The website is:
http://tohhighway.com
The estimated damage and debris could be 4 times what happened last year during Irene on August 28th 2011.
I want to take this opportunity to thank the residents for their patience and understanding during the past 15 days and going forward.
William Naughton
Superintendent of Highways
