Dix Hills Fire District Residents – Legal Notice

LEGAL NOTICE

NOMINATION OF CANDIDATES for ANNUAL ELECTION OF THE DIX HILLS FIRE DISTRICT

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE, that the Annual Election of the Dix Hills Fire District will take place on December 11, 2012 between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. prevailing time at Headquarters Fire House located at 115 East Deer Park Road, Dix Hills, New York for the purpose of electing:

One (1) Commissioner for a five-year term, commencing on January 1, 2013 and ending on December 31, 2017.

All duly registered residents of the Dix Hills Fire District shall be eligible to vote.

Candidates for District office shall file their names with the District Secretary of the Fire District, Todd Cohen at 115 East Deer Park Road, Dix Hills, New York no later than November 21, 2012. Name to be on petition form. Petition must have signatures of 25 qualified voters of the Dix Hills Fire District. Petitions may be picked up at the office of the Dix Hills Fire District Secretary.
