Man Arrested for Possessing Items Stolen From Vehicles in Huntington Station

While on routine patrol, Second Precinct Police Officer Robert Lubanski observed a man walking on Roxanne Court in Huntington Station with two shopping bags containing items that had just been stolen out of vehicles. Among the items stolen from the vehicles were GPS devices, an iPod and clothing.  The vehicles were parked on Folsom Avenue, Roxanne Court and Vidoni Place.

The man, Gregory Roosa, was arrested on Monday, January 7, at 2:50 a.m. He was charged with five counts of Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th Degree and will be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on January 8.

Officers are requesting anyone who believes Roosa was in possession of their property to call the Second Precinct Crime Section at 631-854-8228.
