Eighth-grade students of Elwood Middle School in the Elwood Union Free School District took part in the school’s annual Blue and White Night on Feb. 13. Over 150 students participated in a series of competitions, including “Mr. Touchdown,” “Olympic Rings” and “Tricycle Races.”
The event was sold out, with a packed audience in attendance cheering on the competitors who donned red, white and blue. The competition was fierce; in the end, however, the white team reigned victorious. Both teams displayed a winning spirit, demonstrating sportsmanship and support for their fellow classmates.
